The Institute for Theological Zoology (German: Institut für Theologische Zoologie) is a department of the University of Münster, Germany. The institute's aim is to place animals and animal-life into a scientifically grounded theological context. The heads of the institute are Rainer Hagencord and Anton Rotzetter, who both have a Catholic theological and biological background.
